September 20 - October 4, 2001 ComBio2001, incorporating the 45th Annual Conference of the Australian Society for Biochemistry & Molecular Biology , the 20th Annual Conference of the Australian and New Zealand Society for Cell and Developmental Biology , the 41st Annual Meeting of the Australian Society of Plant Physiologists and - to add a new dimension - the International Proteomics Conference 2001 (2nd Pacific Rim Conference on Proteomics which held its inaugural, biennial meeting in Japan in 1999), was held at the National Convention Centre in sunny Canberra.
