Exhibition

The program is designed so that registrants are encouraged to visit the trade area at all times whilst not in scientific sessions.

The trade exhibition bumps in on Tuesday, 4 October with a “Welcome Mixer and Opening of Trade Exhibition” function to be held that evening. The exhibition bumps out after the lunch/poster session on Friday, 7 October.

Lunches will be served in the exhibition hall for each day of the exhibition. Morning and afternoon teas will be served in the exhibition hall on Wednesday and Thursday, with morning tea on the Friday (as above, exhibition bumping out after the lunch/poster session on the Friday). There is a 1.5 hour mixer on the Tuesday evening and a 1.5 hour cocktail party on the Wednesday evening in the exhibition hall. Dedicated poster sessions will be held in the exhibition hall for each day of the exhibition. We will also be running a "Passport" competition - where all registrants are handed a "Passport" when they register. They need to get their passports stamped by all exhibitors to be in the running for great prizes. This competition does encourage registrants to "cross the line" and visit your booth.

We are pleased to advise there are 13 hours of direct exhibitor/registrant contact hours within the conference. All catering (morning/afternoon teas, lunches, and two evening functions) and poster sessions are held in the exhibition hall.

Trade Presentation Opportunities

As a first at ComBio conferences, we are pleased to advise we are offering trade presentation opportunities at ComBio2016 to confirmed exhibitors. These will be held in the morning/afternoon tea breaks and immediately after the ePoster presentations in the lunch break (whilst the poster presentations are in progress). They will be held in a specially made meeting room in the centre of the exhibition hall. The meeting room will have acrylic panels on the upper half, so everyone inside the room will be fully visible. There will be seating for 72 persons with a four metre wide entrance to the meeting room – so there will be plenty of standing room if required. The 10 minute presentation slots offered are costed at $500+GST. Therefore, if you wanted a 20 minute speaking slot, it would cost $1,000+GST.
