Audiovidual Facilities
We will accept your presentation on disc or a USB Mass Storage Device. We are using Windows XP running Office PowerPoint 2007. Macintosh users will have access to a Macintosh notebook located at the lectern. PowerPoint for Mac and Keynote will be available on these machines. We do however prefer that Macintosh files be transferred to the server and checked for faithful reproduction on the PC. If you have video clips inserted into your presentation please ensure that you supply the video file as well as the PowerPoint file. The screens provided are widescreen therefore if you would like to make use of the extra space in PowerPoint, open your presentation, select design > page setup > slides sized for On-screen Show (16:9) otherwise your presentation will project as normal with a black border on each side.
Please present to Speaker Preparation the day before your presentation or one full session beforehand if you are presenting on the first day. The times speaker preparation is open will appear at the front of your program hand book. We also suggest that you bring a backup of your presentation.
Presenters choosing to make use of the Macintosh notebook located at each lectern please report to the speaker preparation room so we can account for you in this manner.
If you have any questions in regards to these instructions, please email the OzBio2010 Audio Visuals Manager, Mark Stevens : mark@markitmedia.com.au
